I have found a new method to get things done this year, we all do the same trick of writing a list and check things out as we do them, but this year I got a better version of that method. It's pretty simple actually but will make you feel like you have accomplished even more at the end of the day.
STEP ONE // Identify the most important thing you need to do that day.
STEP TWO // Continue your list making sure to write the most important things to do on top.
STEP THREE // Always take care of your most important task first.
The reason that you should take care of the most important item on the list first is that once it's done, you will feel like you have accomplished more that if you had crossed of 4 or 5 things that have less importance. Once the most important task is done, you will be left with small little tasks that can be taken care of much easier!
Here is an example:
✔ Prepare the menus for the week
☐ Do the laundry
☐ Paint nails
☐ Take clothes for donation
☐ Make bed
Once you have the most time consuming / hardest task of the way, the rest will come easy, and at the end of the day you won't feel so stressed out if you can't find the time to do to your most important task!

Thanks Lindsay =)

This might be the best method for you then, I'm also a procrastinator and I can say that this method works very well =)
