Choosing a good organic shampoo is not always an easy task, and after trying a few different ones I think I finally found one that I adore! You guys know that I have been obsessed with the brand Korres aver since I tried their body cream, and once again, they did not disappoint! This shampoo is appropriate for dry and damaged hair like mine, and it has almond and Linseed in it, and it's made out of 84.7% of natural ingredients.

This Korres shampoo is magic! After using the no Poo method by washing my hair with baking soda, I know how my hair should feel when it's free of nasty chemicals! For those that don't know that, the first few washes you may think this shampoo is horrible, but thrust me, just keep using it for 3 or 4 washes and you will understand what I mean when I talk about clean hair!

I love the smell of this shampoo, and the packaging is so pretty, although is not Zero Waste as I'm trying to get there, I see myself reusing this bottle again. I tend do try and find packaging that, although is not Zero Waste, can be reused for other things. This shampoo is also not Vegan, which is very sad for me, but at the time I didn't realize that, but I'm sure I can find another Korres shampoo that it's Vegan.

I got this shampoo from Fapex.pt for and amazing price, but you can also get it at Notino.co.uk

UPDATE // It has come to my attention that this shampoo is has a very harsh ingredient (sodium laureth sulfate), that is used to make foam in the shampoo. I will be sure to try and be more careful with this. I still do love this shampoo, but from now on I will try to stay away from this harsh chemical.

  1. Hi! I just wanted to point out that the main ingredient in this shampoo is a sodium laureth sulfate -- so it's not very organic or natural! It looks like it has a few plant ingredients in there though, which is a good start. :)

I really love my shampoo bars -- I don't recommend brands as everyone's hair as different, but everywhere I've been in the world I've been able to find a local, small batch option that works. Otherwise you might try a brand called Neal's Yard. They're from the UK, but they've been expanding globally recently and you can order online as well. Cheers!

    1. Hi Jenna! Thank you so much for you comment and for letting me know of that nasty ingredient! I will be more carefull about it in the future :)

I have been wanting to try a brand called Lush, they also have bar shampoo. Maybe I like those to, and they have no packaging which is always a plus :)

      Best, Sophie.

  2. I also thought the brand was very organic and vegan, but I found out that most the products have some harsh chemicals in them. I still enjoy some of their products.

    1. I was very sad to learn that too. But yes I still like them anyway, but I will probably try other products before going back to them.

  3. This is a great complement to the Korres conditioner right ? I like it too, but I prefer the one for normal hair.
